The University of Salford Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Adelphi Brass Band combine to discover various aspects of their repertoire. The concert also incorporates our final year student conductors, who continue to develop their skills with the ensembles. As part of continuing our own traditions, we are extremely honoured that the programme will also include the presentation of the Roy Newsome conducting Award by Muriel Newsome, to last year’s recipients, Simon Oliver and Matthew Whitfield.
