ADAM FERRARA Headlining at Gotham!
A series regular on the Emmy-nominated hit FX TV show ‘Rescue Me,’ Adam Ferrara stars as Chief Needles Nelson. He was most recently seen in Sony’s smash hit movie with Kevin James, ‘Paul Blart: Mall Cop,’ Ferrara has been praised for his impeccable comedic timing and superior acting chops! In the spring of 2010, it was also announced that Adam will host and is currently shooting History Channel’s highly anticipated British import “Top Gear.”
Last June Adam headed out on the Second Annual ‘Rescue Me Comedy Tour’ with co-stars Denis Leary and Lenny Clark to kick off the 2010 season premier.
At the 2009 TCA’s, Denis Leary was quoted as saying, “Adam Ferrara is a great comedian, but he’s really pissing me off now because he’s become such a great dramatic actor.” In June 2010, ‘Rescue Me’ aired its sixth season followed by a seventh in spring 2011.

Adam Ferrara is a regular on everybody’s favorite shows: ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno, ‘Late Show’ with David Letterman, ‘Comedy Central,’ ‘The View’ and ‘Rachel Ray,’ just to name a few. The two-time nominee for best male stand-up by the American Comedy Awards, always brings the stage to life with his honest, clever and fearless perspective on family, relationships and himself.
Some of Adam’s other screen roles have included: Universal Pictures’ ‘Definitely Maybe’ with Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher, ‘Winter of Frozen Dreams’ and ‘National Lampoon’s: Dirty Movie’ with Christopher Meloni.
Ferrara began his career on NBC’s ‘Caroline In The City.’ Since then, he has appeared as a series regular on the critically acclaimed ABC series ‘The Job,’ guest starring on NBC’s ‘Law And Order,’ a frequent guest star on CBS hit ‘The King Of Queens,’ and ABC’s ‘Ugly Betty.’
Apart from opening for his comedy idol, George Carlin and performing at both Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall, one of Adam Ferrara’s most exciting moments was a benefit performance for the President and all the Democratic Senators. Stuck in traffic on the way to the event, Ferrara was heard to say: “I’ve waited this long for health care, now they can wait for me.”
