ADAM BEYER (drumcode/code red - sweden)
T-1000 (pure sonik - detroit/chicago)
with
GABRIEL PALOMO (zuvuya - chicago)
godskitchen is the new name for spundae @ vision.
Adam Beyer was completely amazing. A great mix of minimal and acidy techno combined with some classic Adam Beyer punishment. Also, he only played about 3-5 tracks I recognized but a ton of tracks I really liked. So I'm looking forward to pouring through some new records and then scratching my head saying "this sounds vaguely familiar.." then a week later realizing it was in Adam's set.
Also it was nice to see they built an impromptu mini-booth on the back "stage" at Vision. This was you're not breaking your neck to see the DJ and the DJ doesn't feel like Marie Antionette up there. It felt more like smartbar than vision at times. nice...
A great night with one exception. Jesus it was loud. I haven't been that heavily deafened in a long time. Scary.
Also, it would of been good to see Gabe play but with the time change and all that it didn't happen. Luckily he's local so it won't be too long.
