MarinMOCA will feature work by Artist Member Deborah Sullivan, whose unique photographs will be on display in an exhibition entitled "Actuality, Reminiscence, and Fabrication." Sullivan's photographic images seem like stills from a dream or attempts to recover a faded memory, but she brings them down to earth by adhering them to silk, polyblended materials, linen, aluminum, wood and clay. Their ethereal quality is in productive tension with the emphasis on unusual, and often heavy materials, giving viewers a meditative experience that is all the while grounded in physical presence. Don't miss this powerful exhibition that explores the possibilities of the photograph. Reception: 12/8, 5-7pm; Museum Hours: Wed-Sun, 11-4
