Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is the iconic story of family, friendship and the strength of the human spirit. It is the second show in Actors Co-op’s 20th Anniversary Season. Following the experiences of young Scout during a contentious period in Maycomb, Alabama, the play explores many of Harper Lee’s great themes, including the pervasive nature of hatred and injustice, as well as the overwhelming power of grace. With familiar characters like Atticus Finch and the striking dialogue of Lee’s novel, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is an evocative coming-of-age tale that still resonates today.
