A play based on the book by Laura Numeroff
Adapted for the stage by Jody Davidson; directed by Sal Ramos
Santa’s not the only one who likes cookies and milk! Active Arts Theatre for Young Audiences presents a special holiday treat for the whole family. This summer’s hit show IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE, returns for a holiday engagement December 19-23. The popular book by Laura Numeroff was adapted for the stage by Jody Davidson and the play is directed by Sal Ramos.
IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE is a delightful story that starts with an innocent request from a hungry little mouse. What happens when the hungry little mouse asks a young boy for a cookie? And then politely requests a glass of milk to go with it – and perhaps a straw as well, if that wouldn’t be too much trouble? So begins a frenetic misadventure that leaves the house a shambles and the boy in an exhausted heap from playing host to his irrepressible furry guest. This comedy will delight preschoolers, while parents chortle with recognition at the antics of the exuberant mouse.
