ACT 3 International presents ‘WALLS AND FLOORS: VISIBLE ART by Urban Canvas, U.K.’ November 2, 2012

Children will have an absolute treat as they experience the best of 3D pavement art in a gallery setting at ACT 3 International’s latest event. Taking the helm is Urban Canvas from Liverpool, U.K. – a talented duo whose philosophy of combining 3D art and public interaction makes them visual artists with a difference.

‘WALLS AND FLOORS: VISIBLE ART by Urban Canvas, U.K’ is a unique indoor workshop-based activity that revolves around the humble chalk and how it can transform a space into incredible works of bigger-than-life art! Through this event, the presenters – ACT 3 International – hope to engage children in innovative workshops that highlight the fascinating genre of anamorphic art – 3D renderings which only become visible from one particular angle or viewpoint. In addition, there will be opportunities for children to try their hands at 2D chalk art as well.

Suitable for children ages 4 to 12, these scheduled workshops will be guided by Urban Canvas; with two workshops a day for up to 40 participants for each workshop. Children will be dropped off and parents can return to pick them up and partake in photo taking.
