Accordion Noir presents: An Evening of Pleasing Squeezing January 22, 2010

CFRO's weekly Accordion Noir all-squeezebox radio show / podcast presents a mixed program of accordion music performed in several disparate varieties: Gerry O'Brien and his friends will be contributing a set of traditional Irish music, while Jack Garton from Maria in the Shower aims to squeeze everything he knows about gospel and the blues out through the buttons in his left hand -- supposing he isn't blowing his joy and pain through a trumpet in his right! East Van's jug band of the damned The Creaking Planks aims to baffle the acolytes of Lawrence Welk and cap things off with strange squeezings indeed but not before the night coughs up a few more fabulous squeezy surprises.
