ACC Hosts Process Technology Open House June 9, 2009

To give people an opportunity to learn about well-paying careers in the processing industries, Alvin Community College will host the Fourth Annual Process Technology Open House on June 9, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the new Science/Health Science Building. Representatives from Shell Oil will be present to discuss the various aspects and benefits of working in this field. ACC faculty and staff will be present to provide information about educational opportunities to prepare for such careers at the event, as well. The event is sponsored by a grant from the Shell Oil Company. ACC was the first community college in Texas to offer the process technician curriculum.
