The Academy Of Music Northwest is proud to present its 14th Winter Chamber Music Concert.

Washington's Award Winning Young Artists will perform selections from the rich chamber music repertoire. You will marvel at their artistic depth, skills and interpretation of music by the greatest composers of all time.

Academy of Music Northwest has been the leading regional pre-college classical music school since 1997, providing rigorous college-prep music education and performance opportunities for gifted young artists between the ages of 4-18 for all instrumentalists, singers, composers, and conductors.

Our Children's Program for ages 4-10 has been enhanced since 2010. New co-directors are Reiko Ito and Louise (Lou) Bush. While maintaining our high level of beginning music instruction, the program incorporates Dalcroze Eurhythmics, a method that emphasizes movement, rhythm, singing, improvisation, creativity, and simple composition in a playful atmosphere while introducing and expanding music fundamentals.

The Pre-College Program for ages 11-18 has also been expanded to include important electives, including sight-reading for strings, conducting, and sonata literature classes.

The academy presents recitals, chamber music performances, masterclasses, workshops and chamber orchestra concerts in King County and throughout the region.
