Academy Ballroom Cumberland Celebrates its 3rd Anniversary August 28, 2010

Academy Ballroom Cumberland invites you to help us celebrate our third anniversary party on Saturday, August 28 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Dress is business casual or semi-formal. Tickets are $25.00 per person and include a dance show, prize drawings, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast, anniversary cake, and plenty of social dancing. Dance instructors will be available to dance with all guests. The studio is located at 2980 Cobb Parkway, Suite 104, Atlanta, Georgia 30339, just 100 yards south of Cumberland Mall, and has ample free parking. This party is to celebrate not only the dance studio’s anniversary, but also to celebrate the studio’s physical expansion, the steady increase in student enrollment, and the pride of having a studio that has become one of Atlanta’s premier dance facilities!

Just three years ago, Academy Ballroom Cumberland dance studio owners, Robin Dickson and Matthew Gann, built a 5,000 square-foot studio using their own hammers and nails. The studio quickly attracted some of the best dance instructors in the southeast. These instructors teach group and private classes of ballroom dancing as well as other forms of dancing including teaching couples how to dance at their wedding. Classes are for children and adults of all ages, with or without a partner.

On Monday through Thursday nights, group classes for beginners meet at 7:00 p.m. and Continuing Education classes meet at 8:00 p.m. The format is very simple and it works! You take a month of beginner classes, and then graduate into Continuing Education, where you can continue to take classes for as long as you want. In addition to group classes, you can also schedule private lessons with an individual dance instructor at times that match your schedule. Then, you can practice your steps and meet new friends at social parties with different themes every Friday and Saturday night. Best of all, the studio offers affordable, reasonable prices to ensure you have the opportunity to learn to dance.
