As part of its Works & Process series, the Guggenheim museum will host a discussion of the re-staging of ABT's The Sleeping Beauty, to be premiered at its Met season in the spring. The panel will include artistic director and choreographer of the new version of the ballet, Kevin McKenzie, and former ballerina Gelsey Kirkland, and ABT dancers will perform excerpts. According to the Guggenheim brochure, audience members will also get a glimpse of "the ballet's exquisite set designs by Tony Walton and costumes by Willa Kim."
