Abstract Mash-Up II March 14, 2013

Crown Point Press presents a group exhibition of prints by artists who work with abstract visual languages. The show provides fresh insight and unexpected connections by intermingling prints from seemingly disparate artists and styles. Abstract Mash-Up II takes its inspiration from DJs, who combine contrasting musical genres to produce a new, synchronized melody. Artists include Tomma Abts, William Brice, Brad Brown, Pia Fries, Mary Heilmann, Al Held, Robert Hudson, Anish Kapoor, Markus Lupertz, Tom Marioni, Julie Mehretu, David Nash, Gay Outlaw, Judy Pfaff, Rammellzee, Laurie Reid, Sean Scully, Amy Sillman and Pat Steir.
