Bastille Day Celebration: Traditional Absinthe Tasting
Tuesday, July 14th 6:00-8:00
Reception Style with hors d'oeuvres provided.
Price $35 Inclusive
A group of Parisians banned together on July 14, 1789, and stormed the Bastille prison, marking the beginning of the French Revolution. The call for "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" is still heard today during the annual celebration of their independence.
Be your own rebel this year and celebrate Bastille with a traditional Absinthe Tasting at the Columbia Tower Club. This reception style event will feature Pacific Distillery, a local, organic company that uses an original recipe for Absinthe. Learn the history, misconceptions and traditions behind Absinthe from the head of Pacific Distillery, Marc Bernhard. Popular drinks that contain Absinthe such as the Sazerac and The Monkey Gland will be featured as well as the traditional serving of Absinthe.
$35 Inclusive.
