Abraham Lincoln Lecture Series: Dr Patricia Limerick October 27, 2009

Dr. Patricia Limerick will present her lecture titled "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch: What Lincoln Wanted from the West, and What He Got," as part of the museum's Abraham Lincoln Lecture Series. Dr. Patricia Limerick will be giving this lecture, she is the Faculty Director and Chair of the Board of the Center of the American West at the University of Colorado, where she is also a Professor of History. She is a prolific author, her best known work being The Legacy of Conquest (1987), an overview and reinterpretation of Western American history that has stirred great academic and public debate.
