Above and Beyond Dance -- ASCENDANCE September 10, 2009

Above and Beyond Dance fuses modern dance with aerial, stilt and acrobatic work, creating an exciting world onstage which challenges traditional spatial boundaries. The company’s latest production, ASCENDANCE is a journey into group dynamics and the nature of strength and weakness. A multi-talented cast led by Artistic Director Chriselle Tidrick performs to original chamber music by Juilliard-trained composers Nicholas Csicsko and Reinaldo Moya. This action-packed performance is appropriate for all ages and is accessible to devoted dance-goers and novices alike. The Flea Theater presents the Above and Beyond Dance production, ASCENDANCE, Thurs. Sept. 10 – Sat. Sept. 12 at 7pm and Sun. Sept. 13 at 3pm.
