Abby Boland is a young Cleveland based female singer / songwriter with great vocal ability. She will be performing her original Pop, Rock songs tonight.
Kim Aldrich-Ceja is a local singer, songwriter, actress and playwright. Kim recently began playing solo after working many years in cover and original bands, as well as in theatrical productions across the Greater Cleveland area. Her lyrically driven songs range from rock to folk to Broadway-style show tunes. Kim has appeared at events such as the TrueNorth Cultural Arts Festival, and was featured artist at Oddy Fest.
Kim has performed in such shows as the long-running Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding at Playhouse Square (Tricky Black, wedding singer and mother of the bride), Annie at Beck Center for the Performing Arts (Grace) and We Gotta Bingo at Playhouse Square (drummer, Sister Gigi, Darla). Her commissioned play, Blooms of Steel, which told the story of the community that grew around the steel industry in Lorain, played to sold-out audiences at TrueNorth at French Creek in Sheffield. She also wrote the book and music for a full-length musical, Pale Mary, which has had three staged readings. She is currently working on a CD with her husband, Chris.
