Abbreviated Nutcracker Ballet & Sugar Plum Extravaganza December 9, 2006

The American Dance Institute, in Rockville, Maryland will perform a special abbreviated version of the Nutcracker Ballet on Sunday, December 10th at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The Institute's Youth Ensemble will only perform Act II of the beloved classic ballet, giving children the opportunity to experience the mesmerizing movements and music, without getting restless.

The Institute's Sugar Plum Extravaganza, on December 10th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., offers younger kids an interactive introduction to the Nutcracker tale, with dancing, a "Kingdom of Sweets," arts & crafts and more!

Nutcracker tickets are priced at $20 for adults; $10 for children (age 12 & under) and Seniors (age 55 and up). Extravaganza admission is priced at $25 for one adult and one child, with additional adult admission at $25. Tickets can be purchased by calling 301.984.3003 or visiting www.americandance.org.
