AAUW Autumn Festival and Silent Auction November 6, 2010

On Saturday, November 6 a fundraiser, sponsored by the Sunnyvale-Cupertino branch of the American Association of University Women, will be held at Michael's at Shoreline in Mountain View.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch, coffee and dessert as you watch a fashion show of Coldwater Creek attire, hear the melodious tones of our AAUW singers and learn more about our Educational Foundation that funds fellowships and grants to women scholars to further their research. A silent auction will be held with many enticing items such as gift baskets, event tickets, gift certificates, wine tours, a four night stay at a condo in Yosemite and much, much more.

You will also hear a presentation by students who attended the Stanford Tech Trek camp this summer that introduces young women to innovative math and science programs. These students were funded by our AAUW branch to attend the camp at Stanford this past July. Come and meet our members and find out about local AAUW programs and special interest groups.
