Brandon Pierce, Sales Director, Facebook
Brandon is a seasoned business development, sales and customer service professional with 10+ years experience in the advertising and technology industry. Brand has established a track record of building out and managing teams that win market share, provide a high level of customer service and help partners reach their goals.

Brandon received his undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College and a Masters degree in Journalism from Boston University. He was an early employee at Yahoo where he spent six years in various rolls working with leading brands like P&G, HP and the National Basketball Association.

After Yahoo, Brandon spent 5 years at Microsoft. For 3 years he focused on developing strategic brand partnerships. In his final 2 years at Microsoft, he built out and managed a team of Sales Executives for the MSN division of Microsoft focused on Emerging Markets for the West Coast.

Brandon joined Facebook 7 months ago. He is tasked with helping Facebook open and define the San Francisco Bay area market and Pacific Northwest territory and evangelizing the power of social media.

In his own words Brandon is “inspired by opportunities that become available through technological innovation and helping brands understand how they can be reach their marketing goals through these innovations”.

Brandon grew up in Marin County, where he currently resides with his wife and two young children. When he is not on Facebook you will often find him manning the grill in his back yard regardless of the season.
