Asian Americans for Community Outreach is hosting its 11th annual Sports Day for Charity volleyball tournament on Saturday July 29th, 2006, in Greer Park, Palo Alto. Last year 50 teams came from all over the Bay Area to compete in this tournament and help raise thousands of dollars for local Bay Area charities.

Format
------
Reverse Coed 4-on-4 is played on a women's height net. Women may block and hit at the net. Men may spike from behind the 10-foot line only. Any ball played over the net by a male in front of the 10-foot line must be hit with an upward trajectory.

Levels
------
Friendship Match
- Novice players who are still learning the game. No jump serves allowed.
Intermediate Play
- Players can serve, pass, set, and hit with a fair degree of accuracy.
Take No Prisoners
- Players have the highest level of skill in all aspects of the game.
Masters
- Combined age of all four players on the court is 140+.

Registration
------------
Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Entry fee is $35/player and includes lunch, t-shirts, and prizes for 1st and 2nd place winners in each level (more depending on # of teams). Registration must be received by end-of-day July 19th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
