A2D2: Planning Tools Needed for the Development of Design Guidelines for Urban Environments October 26, 2006

This seminar will explore the pros and cons of various planning tools, and discuss what each tool can and cannot do as it relates to the development of urban design guidelines. The lecture will include a presentation of such planning tools as overlay zoning, planned developments, form-based zoning, and design guidelines. It is the second of four seminars presented by the Huron Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
