A World of Drums for Kids! September 30, 2009

A 6 week class, September 30 thru November 4.
A World of Drums: The Magic of Rhythm for Kids ages 5-8 (and the adults who love them!) 6 Wednesday afternoons, 4-5pm. Weekly classes with Barbara Gail, B.A. Education. You and your early elementary child will enjoy exploring hand-drums and percussion from around the world, creative movement, W. African song and dance, playing "Mama Drums" and Native American-style hoop drums, and decorating your own 12" hoop drum to keep! Instruments provided; yours welcome. Babes in arms welcome, but because class is held in a retail space, we regret that your pre-schoolers under the age of 5 will not be able to join us. Please see "The Magic of Drum and Dance for the Young Child!" for ages 1 thru 5, in Venice and Sarasota. Please bring your water bottle and a pillow to sit upon for each person in your group.
**Registration postmarked by September 23: $72 one child, $36 siblings.
**Registrations with postmark date after September 23: $90 one child, $45 siblings.
Additional fee for drums you keep, will be from $28 to $38, depending on availability.
