A Winning Garden - What's beauty got to do with it? with Hazel White February 16, 2011

Hazel White returns to Gamble Garden with her popular, inspiring, and practical workshop on creating gardens to be walked through, lingered in, and remembered forever. She has identified the top five constituents of memorably beautiful places, and she'll help us plan our 2011 gardens to include them.

Hazel White grew up on farms in England and has always been interested in the relationship between people and landscape. She has written for Gardens Illustrated, the London Telegraph Magazine, Horticulture, Garden Design, Pacific Horticulture, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She is the author of 11 gardening books and is also a poet. She writes the monthly gardening checklist in the Northern California edition of Sunset Magazine.
