"A Whole New Mind" -- Lecture and Book Signing June 30, 2005

We are very pleased that Art Center College of Design has the opportunity to host Daniel H. Pink, an author and popular speaker who has lectured to audiences around the world. Dan is a proponent of the theory that the ?MFA is the new MBA? and is a staunch supporter of the value of a creative education.

Dan will be speaking at Art Center?s Hillside Campus this Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 pm in the Los Angeles Times Media Center.

In his book, "A Whole New Mind," Dan argues that the era of "left brain" dominance is giving way to a new world in which "right brain" qualities?inventiveness, empathy, meaning?predominate. During his lecture, Dan will take a fresh look at what it takes to excel, revealing the six essential aptitudes on which professional success and personal fulfillment now depend. This lecture is free and open to the public.
