A Week in the Life of A Zookeeper: Zoo Explorers Camp August 6, 2007

Interested in a career working with animals? This week-long camp provides young teens with a sneak peek at zoo operations. Students with a strong interest in animals will benefit from the hands-on learning experience this camp provides. Topics include animal husbandry, conservation, public education and customer service. Participants will perform a variety of safe and supervised tasks related to animal care including animal diet preparation, cleaning, grooming and enrichment. Getting dirty was never so much fun!
