Nov 6, 12-2pm or 6-9pm
On Sunday November 6th, celebrated Indian Chef Sanjeev Kapoor joins Chef-Owner Ranjan Dey at his landmark Indian restaurant New Delhi Restaurant, for a collaborative culinary event. Highlighting the partnership between two talented Indian chefs, the event will benefit Compassionate Chefs Cafe, a San Francisco-based non-profit founded by Chef Dey.
Sunday's two-part series introduces guests to an innovative ode to the vibrant cuisine of India as interpreted by Chef Kapoor and Chef Dey. Kapoor will be merging his modern take on Indian cuisine with Dey's traditional fare influenced by the American palette. Both chefs are looking to highlight the modern direction that Indian cuisine is headed by inviting guests to experience one of the following exclusive culinary events:
-- A champagne brunch reception from noon to 2 p.m., with an intimate meet and greet with Chef Kapoor priced at $50 per person.
-- A 10-course, family style Wine Dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The extensive dinner will showcase the Indian dining experience at its best, alongside a Q&A session with Chef Kapoor regarding his influence on Indian cuisine ($150 per person).
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Compassionate Chefs.
