Seattle, Washington 98105

This playful adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic, A Midsummer Night's Dream, set on campus, inspired by the experiences of five UW student communities, and sprinkled with University tradition, captures the magical heart and diversity of UW campus life. The Bard's original characters have been replaced with student athletes, young scholars, first-generation, non-traditional, and ROTC students as well as faculty researchers and administrators desperate for funding. As their paths cross, love, disaster, and many surprises flourish, sure to delight all who have an affinity for the UW and Seattle.

This production is the culmination of the Campus-Wide Collaborative Theatre Project, a four year program sponsored by the School of Drama, The College of Arts and Sciences, the Office of Student Life, the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity, and the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs.
