All-around animation guru Tom Sito and his wife Pat Sito are coming to Zeum to give you the inside scoop on working in Hollywood animation. Named in Animation Magazine's list of 100 Most Important People in Animation and called by Animation World Network "one of the key players in the Disney Animation Revival", Tom has spent the past three decades working on such films as Shrek, The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, and Antz as well as old Saturday favorites like Fat Albert, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and She-Ra. His wife Pat Sito worked with Tom on The Little Mermaid and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, as well the series Ren & Stimpy and a current project with Jerry Seinfeld.
Tom and Pat will be presenting some of their work in Zeum's Roundabout space, and you'll get a chance to hear stories from Tom's new book Drawing the Line, about the history, personalities and a real inside look at DisneyTM, DreamworksTM and the cartooning world. Bring a pillow or vintage He-Man sheets to sit back and enjoy the show. Afterwards, the first 25 lucky visitors to sign up will join Tom and Pat for a special hands-on storyboarding workshop in Studio Z.
