Bandhouse Gigs return with an amazing line-up of local artists that pay homage to the ’60s psychedelic folk-rock legends.
* The American response to the British Invasion, the Byrds had an impressive debut with “Mr. Tambourine Man” in 1965, followed by hit songs “Turn! Turn! Turn!” and “Eight Miles High.”
* Chief vocalist Roger McGuinn stayed with the group until it dissolved in 1973. Still touring, McGuinn appears on April 1 at The Barns.
