A Tribute to Marii Hasegawa, a lifelong champion for peace and justice, is sponsored by Richmond Friends Meeting and the Richmond Peace Education Center. Marii Hasegawa was interned as a child by the U.S. government during World War II, and since then she has been involved in many peace organizations. She lived and worked in Richmond, Virginia for many years. There will be a 30-minute documentary screening of "Marii Hasegawa: Gentle Woman of a Dangerous Kind" with discussion to follow. All are welcome.
