A Tree Can Be September 29, 2010

Is a tree a home, a factory, food...? We'll meet some of Habitat's trees up close and personal. We'll look at bark and branching and check out some logs to get to know the "insides" of a tree. We'll think about the animals who rely on trees for survival (including us!), play some games, and learn a Native American method for measuring a tree. We'll finish our day with a poem and an art activity. Registration is required. Call 617-489-5050 for details.
