St. Mary Immaculate Parish hosts “A Taste of SMIP”
Mark your calendar for the parish’s biggest celebration of the summer. St. Mary Immaculate Parish, Plainfield is hosting its “A Taste of SMIP” on Saturday, August 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the St. Mary Immaculate Gym and Parish Center. Weather permitting; bring your lawn chairs so you can enjoy sitting outdoors. Everyone is invited.
The evening will feature foods from all around the world and fun for the entire family, including a DJ/Music, Bingo and Kid’s Games. And you can meet Fr. Philip Mbeta of Phalombe, Malawi.
Your family’s admission cost? Just bring your favorite American or ethnic dish to share. The hot dogs & hamburgers, condiments and lemonade will be provided, so you are sure to find favorites to eat.

The “Taste of SMIP” is a St. Mary Immaculate Parish “Family of Faith Evening”, one of a series of social activities including concerts, dances and parties designed to provide an inexpensive evening out for the entire family.
