A Taste of Healdsburg at First Friday on Abbot Kinney December 4, 2009

The town of Healdsburg is coming to meet us in our own backyard! Having long enjoyed a reputation as Sonoma’s eclectic gem, the town is bringing “A Taste of Healdsburg” to First Friday On Abbot Kinney in Venice next Friday, December 4th. First Friday is an opportunity to stay out late in 21st century Dogtown and peruse modern local masterpieces at esteemed Abbot Kinney art galleries and curio shops; next Friday, Healdsburg, Venice’s unofficial Wine Country cousin, will infuse the monthly event with its own creative approach to old world artistry and, of course, supply the wine.

Venice’s Elvino Wine Shop will offer tasting flights of specially selected Healdsburg wines all evening. Elvino will also host a live webcam and life-size projection screen featuring real time video feed from Healdsburg’s First Friday Art Walk. Venice and Healdsburg can check out each other’s First Fridays and wave hello! Healdsburg reps will occupy various Abbot Kinney locations armed with exclusive getaway guides containing special deals at Healdsburg’s charismatic lodgings, world-class restaurants and spirited independent shops to help you plan your next Sonoma getaway.
