Colorado’s annual Labor Day weekend celebration, A Taste of Colorado, returns to Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park on Friday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 2, 2013.
Celebrating its 30th year as the state’s largest free-admission outdoor event, A Taste of Colorado draws more than 500,000 visitors annually. Five entertainment stages include national, local, and ethnic music in a variety of genres, children’s performers, and much more. Festivalgoers also can try a variety of culinary delights from more than 50 of Colorado’s favorite food establishments, including a fine dining area and culinary showcase. Plus, visitors can enjoy the offerings of more than 280 marketplace artisans and vendors, as well as educational programs promoting the diverse cultural and Western heritage of the region.
Festival of Mountain and Plain … A Taste of Colorado is a community celebration that is produced by and benefits Downtown Denver Events, Inc., the Downtown Denver Partnership family’s community events non-profit organization. The Festival is an opportunity for people throughout the region to come together to experience and appreciate our diverse cultural traditions, and to learn more about our state’s Western heritage. The Festival highlights visual and performing arts in addition to featuring educational programs and culinary demonstrations.
