A Summer Evening Concert at Cascade Theater June 27, 2009

Two young, local talents prepare to wow an audience with their pure vocals at the Redding’s Cascade Theatre, 7:30 p.m. June 27, 2009. Live Ive Enterprises, Inc. presents “A Summer Evening” featuring Summer Schappell and the Nashville Summer Lights Band, with Derek O’Bannon as the opening act.

Summer, 15, who was born and raised in Redding, attends Enterprise High School and has recently released her first self-titled, country genre album.

Derek, 20, a Bella Vista resident and 2007 graduate of Bishop Quinn High School will have his first CD released soon. Derek’s sound is a mix between soft rock and country. His record producer calls his music “uptown country.”
