Wheaton Drama, Inc. (WDI) is presenting Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize winning drama, "A Streetcar Named Desire".

Williams’ masterpiece centers on the descent of Blanche DuBois as she struggles with a faded past and a cruel and harsh present.

The cast includes: Dave Amato (Glen Ellyn), Jeni Dees (South Elgin), James Griffin (Plainfield), Sarah Hommowun (Bloomingdale), Dritan Kadiu (Wheaton), Adam Krause (Hanover Park), Jennifer Myers (Glen Ellyn), Genevieve Pastore (Chicago), Leah Rae (Hanover Park), Suzanne Reeves (Naperville), Melissa Sokasits (Warrenville), Austin Wahle (Downers Grove), and Craig Witt (Bolingbrook).

Directing is Charles A. Berglund (Naperville), assisted by
Jo-Ann Ledger (Bolingbrook). Randall W. Knott (Montgomery) is the production manager, with Bruce Ebner (Batavia) stage managing.

Performances are April 3 through April 26 (no performance Easter). Shows are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are $16, except Thursdays, which are discounted to $13.
