This exhibit showcases 6 patch-worked quilts selected from the Mayborn permanent collection. A Stitch in Time traces the history of the quilting tradition from hand sewing to early use of the sewing machine. Through the focus on the quilting process, the exhibit fosters a new appreciation for the tradition of American quilting. A Stitch in Time will be on exhibit April 6th July 17th in the Baylor History area of the museum.
Admission is $4 for children 18 months and older and $6 for adults. As always, admission is free for members. For more information, please call 254-710-1110. Remember to bring your camera and make memories of this fun time with your family!
