A Sense of Place: Photographs by Bob Reichley April 9, 2007

In his travels throughout the country and abroad, Reichley seeks to find the artifacts of the cultures experienced. He wanders the back streets, identifies some aspect of a building, landscape, or crowd and captures those elements that define a specific place. Shadows, planes of light, colors, and scale all factor into the composition. The installation focuses on 40 images made over the course of 20 years.
