Walenstein Symphony Orchestra will feature its most talented members in two chamber music concerts as part of the “A Romantic Evening With Tchaikovsky” series on Friday, September 11, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., in the University of Miami Gusman Concert Hall (Coral Gables), and Saturday, September 12, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in Broward Center for the Performing Arts – Amaturo Theater.
The program will spotlight the works of the Great Russian composer, Peter Tchaikovsky, including his Piano Trio in A Minor, String Quartet No. 1 in D Major, and the beloved Souvenir de Florence String Sextet.

Walenstein Symphony Orchestra was created in October 2009, as the newest entity of Walenstein Musical Organization; a non for profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in 1996 to provide music education and performance opportunities for young people in South Florida.
Walenstein Musical Organization is led by Executive Director, Romel Joseph, Haitian professional violinist, a Fulbright Scholar and Juilliard School of Music Graduate, where he earned his Master's Degree in Music and Violin Performance.
