American City: Detroit Architecture 1845-2005: A Photographic Tribute to 160 years of Great Architecture - Extended Through Early 2007 -Main Library, 3rd Floor. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
The Detroit Public Library will open an exhibition of 80 new color photographs of Detroit’s most famous buildings at the Main Library, 5201Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI. American City: Detroit Architecture 1845-2005 was organized by the Detroit Public Library to celebrate Detroit’s heritage as a leader in architecture and design. The photographs are drawn from the best-selling book “American City: Detroit Architecture 1845-2005,” by Photographer William Zbaren and Writer Robert Sharoff and published by Wayne State University Press.
