This exhibition explores one of very few murals painted by Steinberg, this work was commissioned by Thomas Emery's Sons in 1947, along with Miro's Mural. The mural represents Steinberg's unique perspective of Cincinnati and portrays figures dancing and eating scattered among such landmarks as the Roebling Suspension Bridge and the Tyler Davidson Fountain. Each element was drawn in the artist's fanciful line well known to readers of The New Yorker.
