Join us for a canoe trip through the unspoiled habitats of the Ipswich River to experience the sights and sounds of a fall morning. At this time of year, we should see flights of wood ducks, herons, and migrating songbirds, and experience the autumn colors of the marshes. A paddle into the backwaters of the river will reveal life hidden just below the surface as we use sampling equipment to discover aquatic life. This trip will pass through some of the most beautiful areas on the river. We'll put in at the Route 97 landing and take out at the sanctuary canoe landing. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=808-IP10FA1 for more information.
