Theatricum brings back its signature production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, an audience favorite with a set design unrivaled by any other theater - because it's the real thing. The most magical outdoor setting in Los Angeles is once again transformed into an enchanted forest inhabited by lovers both fairy and human. Shakespeare conjures a world of wonder, magic and romance where comical misunderstandings and the pain of unrequited love are resolved, and all is reconciled through midsummer night revelries and the enduring power of nature.

A Midsummer Night's Dream features Jonathan Blandino, Willow Geer, Amy Greenspan,
and Jackson McCord Thompson as the lovers; Michael McFall as Oberon and Melora
Marshall as Titania; Samara Frame as Puck; Thad Geer as Bottom; and Crystal Marie Clark,
Christopher Geer, Jerry Hoffman, Max Lawrence, and Kabin Thomas as the Rustics. Also in
the cast are Joanna Bateman, Sydney Blair, Mollyann Davis, Liz Eldridge, Cecilia
Fairchild, Clare Fogerty, Christopher W. Jones, Christian La Monte, Anna Walters, Austin Andries, Taylor Jackson-Ross, Shali Mals, Christopher Parker, Alice
Sherman and Tyler Tanner.

Greek buffet "Dream Dinners," with a costumed cast of fairies in attendance, will take place
every Thursday in August at 6:30 pm in the theater's adjacent gardens, followed by an 8 pm
performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream (separate admission, or combo packages
available).

The outdoor amphitheater at The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum is terraced into the hillside of the rustic canyon. Audience members are advised to dress casually (warmly for evenings) and bring cushions for bench seating. Snacks are available at the Hamlet Hut, and picnickers are welcome before and after the performances.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream opens on Sunday, June 5 through September 25. A prologue (pre-show discussion) is on Sunday, June 18 @ 3 pm (included in the ticket price). Pre-performance Greek-buffet Dream Dinners at 6:30 pm every Thursday in August (separate admission, or combo packages available).
