A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY IN FALLS PARK
A country music festival will be Sunday, July 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the gazebo in Falls Park at the corner of Pendleton Avenue and Water Street in Pendleton.
Local resident, Josh Mahoney and the Second Chance Band, will provide a hyper-energizing family show for children and adults under the park’s shade trees.
Mahoney, a 2004 PHHS graduate formed Second Chance in the summer of 2005. The band has been seen performing at various clubs and festivals in the central Indiana area. They have performed on the “side stage” at the Kenny Chesney concert at Verizon Wireless Music Center . This was the second time Josh has performed at Verizon, the first being last year for the Brooks and Dunn concert.
Josh is the son of Mike and Sharla (Murdock) Mahoney of Pendleton.
The concert is presented by the Pendleton Community Library and sponsored by the Pendleton Lions Club.
Pendleton’s Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority will be scooping up the strawberries and the Pendleton Lions Club will be selling hot dogs and soft drinks.
Come on down to the park and enjoy an evening of country music. Josh can’t wait to meet new people and see old friends!
If it rains, the concert will be relocated to the Pendleton Community Library.
