JEW GROWS IN BROOKLYN
EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND!
More than 10,000 tickets sold to date!
David Mirvish is proud to announce that A JEW GROWS IN BROOKLYN - the heart-warming, true story, comedy musical by and starring Jake Ehrenreich - has been extended by popular demand and will return to the Panasonic Theatre for a limited engagement from June 3 - 13 after a short hiatus.
Ehrenreich moves audiences to roar with laughter, be deeply moved by his family's story of survival, and ultimately, to feel their spirits uplifted by the fulfillment of the cycle of life and Jake's unique insights.
From his family's survival of the Holocaust, to stickball in Brooklyn, to summers in the Catskills and both his mother and sister's heart-wrenching struggle with early-onset Alzheimer's, the incomparable Jake (and friends) takes you on a unique, multi-media musical journey.
Since its Canadian premiere on April 28, A JEW GROWS IN BROOKLYN has routinely received standing ovations from sold-out crowds, with over 10,000 tickets sold in three weeks.
"Great timing, boundless energy… You're going to want to make a visit to the Panasonic Theatre." - Toronto Star
