Thomas Gibbon's 'A House With No Walls' presents a conflict between two African-Americans. The conflict between two African-American characters where one is a political activist and the other conservative author is juxtaposed against the story of Ona Judge who is one of Washington's slaves. She struggles with the decision of whether to escape her bondage. Moving in time between the present and the past the play explores our relationship to troubling historical reality.
