A Harvest of Pumpkin and Squash with Lou Pappas

Celebrate the harvest of pumpkins and squash with a participation-style cooking class in the Carriage House. The menu will feature Roman Vegetarian Pizzas, Greens and Heirloom Tomato Salad, Sesame Quinoa Pilaf, Butternut Squash and Curried Chicken Indienne, Cranberry-Pecan Pumpkin Cookies, and Pumpkin Cognac Ice Cream, with wines to accompany. Bring an apron, as this is a participation class.

Lou Pappas, popular author of over fifty cookbooks, has taught many cooking classes at Gamble Garden, covering everything from appetizers to desserts. She enthusiastically grows many of her own vegetables and fruits at her home in Palo Alto.

$40 member, $50 non-member.
