Historic Trinity Church invites you to have a ‘spooktacular’ time this year with an afternoon and evening filled with free, family-friendly events.
From 4-6 PM, the South Churchyard will offer with crafts, face-painting, a photo booth and treats as ‘ghosts from the churchyard’ roam around telling stories of New York’s past.
From 6-8 PM, the North Churchyard comes alive with music and dancing as parents are invited to enjoy a Haunted Hamilton cocktail (non-alcoholic beverages also available).
In the evening, all are welcome to stick around and enjoy a free screening of John S. Robertson’s silent screen adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde (1920). Starring John Barrymore, known as one of the greatest actors of his day, this classic story will be accompanied by a dramatic score by acclaimed organist Cameron Carpenter on Trinity’s virtual pipe organ.
All are welcome to enjoy a safe night filled with good old-fashioned fun at Trinity Church. Costumes are encouraged!
