From the welcoming call of Once In Royal David’s City and the bidding prayer…to the roaring power of the closing hymn…O Come, All Ye Faithful, the Appleton Boychoir brings again the words and music of the season in this traditional favorite. Modeled after the famous Kings College festival, first presented in Cambridge, England 1918, the service tells the story of the Nativity through word and song. The lessons are read by representative of the community…first a small boychoir chorister...then concluding with the mayor of the city. The splendor and majesty of the season will fill the Lawrence Memorial Chapel. From season to season, whenever this service is heard, Christmas may truly begin. Please join the Appleton Boychoir and MasterSingers for this beloved community tradition! Lawrence Memorial Chapel
